A Recent Article By Chang, 2013 Solving The U.s. Health...

In a recent article by Chang, 2013, solving the U.S. health care problems, it is stated that the need to pursue many strategies to address the problems. This article proposes the action strategy which takes into account decision factors important to healthcare organizations such as economic viability, technological feasibility, ease of implementation, and operational efficiency as well. The article states that if this strategy is implemented, a job the majority of healthcare organizations will be able to achieve is forward progress in cost reduction, quality enhancement, cycle time shortening and an increase in patient satisfaction (Chang, 2013). Practitioners in the IT management area are supposed to be well prepared to assist health care organizations and implementing these elements of the strategy is another problem that faces the American system. The VA system is a failure in itself. The health care reform really didn t address the veterans. These individuals who have protected the freedom and rights of the American citizens should be provided free healthcare and have access to set Health Care within a reasonable amount of time.
